Aimee Jennings is an accomplished writer, director, and editor based in Los Angeles. Her emotionally engaging experimental films have screened at prestigious film festivals including  Ann Arbor Film Festival,  Tribeca Film Festival, and more. 

Her unique perspective is evident in her experimental solo-travelogue essay trilogy "The Sentence", which delves into the heart of the human experience on this planet through a woman's lens. Inspired by Chris Marker's "Sans Soleil", she has adopted the role of his female narrator now on her journey, writing to another would-be traveler to continue his message of external exploration and internal self-discovery.  

 

 Jennings is currently in post-production on the third and final installment of her essay film trilogy. The conclusion of her globe-spanning meditation on humanity through a woman's lens.
